4.5 Hour Marathon in 6 Minutes
I know…it’s been a whole month and a half since the Twin Cities Marathon and hardly any videos. Sorry about that!
Today, I finally sat down and compiled this video (my video editor isn’t the best – it’s free – so pardon the lower quality of the video).
I also wanted to give a quick update for our campaign so far:
Since we started in June of this year, we have raised a total of $850, completed 50 pushups, and ran 1 marathon.
I know that’s a whole lot less than we raised last year…and I’m sorry. We really haven’t had the focus we had last year. But the point is, $850 is a whole lot more than nothing, and we’re going to continue raising money until the end of the year (just because we haven’t done much as of yet, doesn’t mean we’re giving up)!
If you haven’t donated to this cause yet, please consider doing so. It means a huge difference in the lives of these kids.
When I was on my mission’s trip to Haiti, I saw firsthand how precious each and every gift is to the children there and all over the world. They would play for hours with nothing but a deflated soccer ball. They deserve to be protected, and OUR is doing a fantastic job doing just that.
With that said, here’s the short video I made (thus the title of this post) where you can see the entire journey of this year’s marathon in just 6 minutes:
If we could get to $2,000 by the end of this year (2018) that would be awesome. Please share this video, and spread the word! The more awareness we create for this cause, the better.
Until next time,
Hope Frances
