How to Create a Main Menu for Your Free WordPress Blog
This video was probably the most exciting for me. I don’t really know why. Probably because I started getting into the more interesting stuff 🙂
So far, this project has really helped me step outside my comfort zone and create a medium of content I wasn’t super familiar with.
I am grateful for all the support my Praxis community gave me in reassuring me this was a good idea! I am having a lot of fun, and learning a new skill all at the same time. Plus (in my opinion), I believe I am getting better at this 😉
If you don’t know how to do something, just starting doing it and you’ll figure it out. If you are an expert the first time you try something, you waited too long to try.
In this video, users will learn how to:
- Create fields for their “contact” page*
- Create the main menu
- Designate the “home” page and the “blog” page
* One thing I forgot in this tutorial (I will cover in the next one) is how to pick an email for your contact form. If you go to 1 minute 30 seconds into the video, you will see the word “settings” in the little box where you can edit the contact form. Click on settings, and type in the email you want the messages from the contact form to go to. If you do not select an email, it will default to the email you used to set up your account with. I hope that helps!
ENJOY!
Until next time,
Hope Frances
